Gateron Milky Switches feature an opaque housing made of a different kind of plastic from normal Gateron housings. The milky housing causes the LED lighting to be diffused more evenly through the keycaps. In addition, they cause the switch to have a deeper and fuller sound.This is the KS-3X1 variant.

Switches got dispatched yesterday and arrived early this morning. These switches sound and feel great. The milky look to them gives a great effect with the lighting of my keyboard (plain white), by making it more yellow and isn't as bright, which is perfect for me. Highly recommend these!
